Today’s Topic: Not Giving Up On Your Dream

This week, I got to live out my dream of surfing on the beaches of California. This is something I’ve been talking about for at least 16 years. There were plenty of obstacles in my way — I’m getting older and my body is built more for lifting weights than surfing. But still, I managed to make it happen. This isn’t meant to be me gloating, though. Kim and I wanted to break down what it took to make this happen and show you that you can reach your goals if you put in the work and don’t let obstacles get in your way.

In This Conversation We Cover:

  • [03:53] Following through on a dream
  • [05:14] Having a deep-seated drive to accomplish your goal
  • [07:21] Overcoming obstacles
  • [11:52] Shifting your mindset from pure strength to real fitness
  • [14:36] Having a system in place
  • [20:16] Not going back

Hi, I’m Rob!

Hi, I’m Rob! It has been said “You are not what you have learned, but what you’ve overcome.”

I have overcome my share of obstacles in order to architect the life of my dreams and uncover the key to lasting, meaningful success. Growing up in Queens (literally on the wrong side of the tracks), my early years were tumultuous, marked by hardship and violence.
